Join us for services Sundays at 11am.

Hey There… This week only August 7, 2016 we are going to attend the Druidic services of Three Cranes Grove at the Dublin Irish Festival.

Services start at 10:00 and if you bring a canned good, you can stay all day at the festival for free for the reminder of the day!

Welcome Dear Friends,

We, Unitarian Universalist Congregation East, invite you to visit our church at 11:00 AM, Sunday mornings. We welcome you no matter who you are or where you are on your spiritual journey.  Our Sunday services encompass speakers from diverse backgrounds who draw on a wide range of thoughts and experiences.  Unitarian Universalist Churches have a proud history of social justice, peace, compassion and democracy. Our presence in the community is very important because of our messages of tolerance, reason, truth, as well as respect for the independent web of all existence.  Diversity here in this space is not a platitude, we know that the world is a better place when we embrace each other’s differences.

The doctrine of love, as stated in the Covenant, guides our membership toward a spiritual path.

Love is the doctrine of this church;

The quest for truth is its sacrament,

And service is its prayer.

To dwell together in peace,

To seek knowledge in freedom,

To serve all in fellowship to the end

That we shall grow into harmony with the divine.

Thus we do covenant with each other

And with the world.

Now that you know we are here, and what we are about, please drop by on a Sunday morning. If you are a free thinker seeking to grow into harmony with the divine, and want to do so among other knowledge and truth seekers, then we may be the congregation you have been searching for!

We encourage progressive organizations that are working for positive community changes; such as, peace, social justice, democracy, the environment and human rights, to meet without charge in our church. Others may rent the building and camp-like grounds for special events like weddings, family reunions, social gatherings, conferences and business meetings.
