Karen lead us in an introspective hour of trying to define our purpose as a community church.  Unitarian Universalism does not have a guiding creed to which all members must dedicate their lives.  We are a diverse community and we tolerate diversity in the spiritual journey of others.  We believe in exploring spirituality, but not imposing one version of it on any seeker.  We also believe in social justice, and respect for the balance of nature and the environment. So, we are trying to craft a succinct statement that we can post here to help you understand something about us before you come visit.

So, we are trying to define a mission statement.
